The project structure of RUN

The RUN research project is divided into three sub-modules and a core module.
In sub modules I to III, the various scientific disciplines work closely with practice partners on a specific topic of the project. The project partners work on engineering and crop production issues, they make social science analyses and develop landscape ecology or economic models.

The central core module guarantees that all sub-results from the various sub-modules are brought together to a synthesis. This happens already within the sub-modules. The responsible partners in the core module, however, continuously ensure the comprehensive exchange of knowledge from all perspectives of the various specialist disciplines and practitioners. This turns RUN into an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary project with holistic solutions as a result.
