RUN - RURAL URBAN NUTRIENT PARTNERSHIP
Nutrient Communities for Sustainable Agriculture
The project structure of RUN
The RUN research project is divided into three sub-modules and a core module.
In sub-modules I to III, diverse scientific disciplines collaborate closely with project partners on a specific topic of the project. The project partners address engineering and crop production issues, conduct social science analyses, and develop landscape ecology or economic models.
The central core module guarantees that all sub-results from the various sub-modules are brought together to a synthesis. This happens already within the sub-modules, however, the responsible partners in the core module continuously ensure the comprehensive exchange of knowledge from all perspectives of the various specialist, disciplines, and practitioners. This turns RUN into an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary project with holistic solutions as a result.
